With the upcoming Closed Beta in 2018, more players will be able to get their hands on the swashbuckling, loot hunting, shanty chanting adventure that comes with SoT. It is still unknown exactly what level of content players will have access to. However, the developers are likely to release new customization options as well as new NPCs hinted at in this video from December 14th, 2017. We may also be seeing the addition of public events, something that Rare has hinted at previously, which all players connected to a server will have access to simultaneously.
Whatever happens in the beta, we're sure to see new content that will improve what is already shaping up to be an amazing title.
