The Ceremonial Admiral Speaking Trumpet is a Speaking Trumpet. Trumpets were introduced into Sea of Thieves in The Hungering Deep DLC. This item can be purchased on Outposts from the Equipment Shop.
The trumpet is used by players to communicate long distances, virtually allowing other players on the map not currently on the player's ship to hear what the player is saying. Similar to a "yell" in chat in many games. Players will still need to be in a relatively close proximity to hear someone using the trumpet.
